It’s been more than 70 years since Fuquay Springs and Varina merged, and since then Fuquay-Varina residents have created one community.

Fuquay-Varina’s population has doubled since the 2000 Census, when nearly 7,900 residents were recorded living in the town. More than 13,700 residents are estimated to occupy the town now and even more folks are moving in. Ask anyone who lives there and they'll tell you why.
